Protein methods and technology are at the core of a considerable number of post-genome research programmes within biological sciences, chemistry, physics and mathematics at 10 departments and centers at DTU.
Protein.DTU is an open, formal network promoting collaboration across DTU in order to benefit optimally from the evident synergies present within research, teaching, innovation and government counselling in the protein area. Protein.DTU supports a shared infrastructure comprising a proteomics technology platform and aims at developing a biophysics analysis facility open for all DTU departments.and centers.
Protein.DTU hosts two annual workshops, one with invited international speakers addressing novel themes from the frontiers of protein science and the other gathering graduate students and postdocs to exchange and discuss results. Protein.DTU continuesly stimulate new collaborations between protein researchers at DTU, other national and international academic institutions and the industry.
